Environmental Sustainability
For many years, ABNOX has consistently focused on eco-friendly solutions and taken responsibility for the careful use of resources. Our entire energy supply comes 100 percent from renewable sources such as solar and hydropower. At the same time, we continuously review and optimize our internal processes to further increase energy efficiency—for example, through the consistent use of modern LED lighting.
Our products also actively contribute to sustainability. We develop and manufacture solutions that help our customers minimize lubricant consumption and apply it according to actual demand. We place particular emphasis on longevity: we provide spare parts for all products to ensure a long service life and conserve resources. In addition, we regularly analyze our carbon footprint to derive further improvements and implement new measures.
Social Sustainability
ABNOX takes responsibility for people. Despite the service sector's dominance in Switzerland, we secure stable industrial jobs and provide long-term perspectives. A special focus is placed on vocational training: every year, we train several apprentices, representing approximately 10% of our workforce. Furthermore, our employees benefit from a modern infrastructure that creates an attractive and contemporary working environment.
We integrate people with disabilities, thereby promoting equal opportunity and diversity in daily work life. In addition, we regularly support non-profit organizations and offer mechanical engineering students from ETH Zurich valuable practical experience through internships.

ABNOX is an owner-managed family business with a history spanning over 80 years at its location in Cham. Our actions are characterized by long-term thinking. Stability and reliability are of central importance to us. We continuously meet new challenges and develop our products and services with a focus on the future.
