Are the Hydraulic Lubricant Nipples according to DIN 71412 leakproof (oil)?
The Lubricant Nipple is only sealed metalically. If the Lubricant Nipple has to be placed downwards and should not leak, special ventils have to be inserted. see example
What about the Lubricant Nipple according to VSM 19337 / 19338 K-Nipple (Farmer-Nipple)?
All VSM norms about Lubricant Nipples have been withdrawn. VSM 19337 has been replaced by DIN 71412. K-Nipple according to VSM 19338 are not produced anymore.
How large is the hole for the flush type Lubricant Nipple D1a to drive into it?
The drive in plug has a plus tolerance, i.e. for the size 8mm Ø8.1 (-0.05). The hole should have a diameter of 7.9H11.
Are there any hook-on- and flusch type Lubricant Nipples made out of brass?
Brass Lubricant Nipples according to VSM19335 / 19336 are not produced anymore (withdraw of the norms). According to DIN 3404 / 3405 there are Lubricant Nipples made out of steel, zinc plated on the market.
Are there any Grease Cartridges for the Grease Gun ABNOX Wanner 30955?
The Grease Guns 80 / 120 ccm are only designed for the open fill. There are no Cartridges of this size on the market.
Is it possible to put the Meisselpasten-Cartridges Ø53 x 280 mm (Bechem) in the Muralt 37590 or Wanner Grease Gun 30650?
These cartridges are not dimensioned according to DIN 1284, in order to prevent confusion with other conventional stock lubricants. There are special lever grease guns for these cartridges.
The use of Hand Push Guns for oil?
The Hand Push Grease Gun 31960 with additional adaptions is designed for oil. Conventional, not too thin machine oils can be dispensed with a standard Hand Pressure Gun.
What about the environmental influences on the pumping of grease?
During the cold seasons, the pumping of lubrications outside can lead to problems (cooler grease has a higher penetration). Lubricant Guns and Machines should therefore – if not used – be stored in warm and dry places. It can take several hours until cool grease can be pumped.
Is there the possibility to Pump Greases with NLGI class 3 or more with Pneumatic oder Electric Pumps?
Until NLGI 2, grease can be pumped without any problem. The pumping of lubricants with an higher penetration has to be examined case by case. The problem is not that big if a Hand Operated Grease Gun Filler is used, but still has not to be underestimated.
Maintenance Unit for Pneumatic Pumps?
Generally, if prepared air is used, no Maintenance Unit has to be considered. Nevertheless, we do recommend to plan a Maintenance Unit since it will reduce the failure proneness as well as the lifetime of the Pumps and Systems can be raised.
What about the dispension of oil with Pneumatic ABNOX-Pumps and Metering Valves?
On principle, oil can be pumped and dispensed. But if too much pressure is used, the oil begins to spatter. Therefore only low Pressure Pumps should be used or the pressure should be greatly reduced. The output of the Pneumatic Pumps is too little to pour oil into a smaller Container – also the pressure is too high. Therefore special Low Pressure Oil Pumps are made.
Pumping of two Components-Mediums?
The Pneumatic as well as the Electric Pumps made by ABNOX need the pumping medium to lubricate themselves. Mediums which have no grease effect can not be pumped.
Is there a use of the „Kabelblitz“ regarding pipelines with distribution boxes?
If the PVC-Safety Pipeline is cut off because of a turn-off or distribution boxes, the „Kabelblitz“ can only be used until that certain cut off. The enclosed arrow can only find his way in a compact system.
Connections and Arrows of the „Kabelblitz“ for Metric Conduits?
No special Connections are needed for the Metric Conduits. New arrows have been designed for the conduits M25, M32, M40 and M63. The respective Metric Arrows are available in the “Kabelblitz”-range.
